Open for two years on December 12, 2007, n'Joy Coffee & specialTeas has been a hot spot in Plymouth. Not only does its European roasted Boom Bros. coffee and over 50 loose teas attract the city's attention, but also the drive thru and wireless internet brings people from all walks of life. The coffee shop's very accessible hours and cozy atmosphere allow people to come in on their own time to relax and unwind with a warm cup of coffee or a pot of tea.

n'Joy does not serve just coffee and tea. There is also a wide variety of non coffee drinks, such as smoothies and shakes, and the Italian Soda. The shop also has a food menu of toasted sandwiches, wraps, and soups along with some breakfast sandwiches.

Roger and Connie Thompson, the owners of n'Joy Coffee & specialTeas, built the coffee shop as a place to reconnect and relax, a place that they have always wanted in Plymouth. They put a lot of work into finding the perfect coffee to serve and getting the whole coffee shop feel just right. Besides organizing and choosing what kind of coffee to use for their menu, they also added a few of their own drinks to the mix, such as the famous Frozen Hot Chocolate and the Chai Frappé.
